Where I work, I’m the in-house tech support. I’m also the guy that utilizes every feature of everything our company offers. We operate using Microsoft’s Office 365 software. I created this SharePoint page to take advantage of the ability to create a centralized hub for all things information and sharing. All this is to avoid sending emails with attached files and be more organized. And it works great. Link the page’s documents directory to your One Drive account with one click and VOILA! Everyone can access all the necessary reports and documents from their computers and mobile devices at any time.

I’ve embedded our team’s Twitter feed, a Student Affairs (our department) RSS feed featuring new stories as they’re published, and Sodexo news manually added as it’s made available.

How about a countdown to the end of the Fall Semester and a little weather forecast just for fun? Because why not.

There are all sorts of apps and features that can be integrated into any SharePoint page. For now, we’re just keeping it basic with some news feed stuff, document storage and sharing, and shared calendars. She’s pretty so I figured it’s worth sharing.

That’s teamwork
